Israeli Colonists Reclose Gate in Umm Safa, Isolating Palestinian Home

Umm Safa:Israeli colonists have reclosed an iron gate isolating a Palestinian home in the village of Umm Safa, located north of Ramallah.

According to Palestine news & Information Agency - WAFA - English, the head of the Umm Safa village council, Marwan Sabbah, reported that the iron gate, positioned east of the village, was closed again by colonists. This gate isolates the home of Palestinian citizen Mohammad Al-Obeidat.

Earlier in the day, the Palestinian Civil Coordination succeeded in opening the gate after obtaining a decision from Israeli occupation authorities. However, it was closed again in the evening. The home under siege is inhabited by 15 Palestinians.

The Umm Safa village council had previously issued an urgent appeal for help, highlighting the siege's impact on the Al-Obeidat family. The closure of roads leading to their home has hindered access to medical treatment for patients and prevented children from attending school over the past week.
