Awarta:Israeli colonists have been raiding the village of Awarta, located south of Nablus, since early Wednesday morning.
According to Palestine news and Information Agency, the raid involved dozens of colonists entering the village under the protection of the Israeli army. During their presence, the colonists performed Jewish rituals at Islamic shrines within Awarta.
Local sources indicated that the colonists have been present around the al-Uzair shrine for more than 12 hours. They have reportedly attacked Palestinians who attempted to approach this site.
