Tubas: Israeli colonists forced Palestinian herders to vacate their grazing lands east of Tubas on Wednesday, continuing a pattern of harassment targeting Palestinian herding communities in the area.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Mukhles Masaeed, head of the Yarza village council, reported that colonists drove Palestinian herders and their livestock from grazing areas near the Bedouin communities of Yarza and Ras Al-Ahmar. This action effectively prevented residents from accessing their traditional grazing lands.
The incident is part of a broader trend of escalating colonist attacks and restrictions on Palestinian communities in the northern Jordan Valley. Palestinians in the region have faced increasing challenges related to access to grazing areas, water sources, and agricultural land.
Recent months have seen intensified Israeli measures in the Jordan Valley, including restrictions on Palestinian movement, damage to water and irrigation infrastructure, land seizures, and the expansion of colonial outposts.
