Jerusalem: Israeli colonists established a new settlement outpost in the Bedouin community of Khan al-Ahmar, east of occupied Jerusalem, on Wednesday.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency, the Jerusalem Governorate reported that dozens of colonists have begun constructing the outpost approximately 60 meters from the local community's school. This development poses a direct threat to Palestinian residential areas and the children's right to education.
The establishment of the outpost is seen as part of a broader colonial policy aimed at seizing land and displacing residents. The new outpost's proximity to educational facilities underscores the potential impact on the community's access to education and daily life.
