Hebron: Israeli colonists attacked Palestinian shepherds on Saturday evening in the Bedouin community of Khirbet Dkeika in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, according to local sources.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, anti-settlement activist Osama Makhamreh reported that armed Israeli colonists assaulted shepherds in the area and attempted to attack them and steal their livestock. He stated that the assault occurred under the protection of Israeli soldiers, who subsequently detained three local Palestinians. No injuries were immediately reported.
The incident marks the latest in a series of attacks targeting Palestinian residents and herding communities in Masafer Yatta. The area has experienced a rise in assaults by Israeli colonists and forces in recent years, escalating tensions and insecurity among the local population.
