Bethlehem:Three Palestinians were assaulted by Israeli colonists in the Abu Najim area, southeast of Bethlehem.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, the attack took place on Wednesday, where colonists raided the area and physically attacked the individuals, leading to one requiring hospital treatment.
The Abu Najim area frequently experiences such assaults, with colonists targeting residents, homes, and property. This incident is part of a broader escalation of colonist attacks in the eastern and southeastern parts of the Bethlehem governorate.
Colonist violence against Palestinians, including arson, stone-throwing, and crop destruction, is a common occurrence in the West Bank, and prosecutions by Israeli authorities are rare. Approximately 1 million Israeli colonists reside in the West Bank and East Jerusalem, which is considered a violation of international law.
