Gaza: Israeli colonists, under the protection of Israeli forces, continued for the 13th consecutive day on Friday to besiege several Palestinian homes in the town of Qusra, south of Nablus, in an apparent attempt to seize the properties for colonial expansion in the area. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Qusra Mayor Abdul Azim Wadi stated that Israeli forces and colonists have persisted in their siege of three homes in the Ras al-Ain area, effectively trapping the families inside and preventing their movement. One of the homes has been taken over and transformed into a military outpost, with the area being declared a closed military zone. Wadi reported that the besieged families are experiencing shortages of food and some essential medications due to the blockade preventing supplies from reaching them. The ongoing siege has raised significant concerns about the humanitarian situation for those trapped inside. Furthermore, Israeli forces on Thursday evening destroyed belongings an d furniture inside the home of Yousef Abdul Salam after taking control of it and converting it into a military barracks. Abdul Salam, along with his family, was forcibly removed from their residence and is currently staying in another besieged home, following the declaration of the area as a 'closed military zone.'
