Gaza: Seven Palestinians were killed and several others injured on Sunday afternoon due to an Israeli bombardment that specifically targeted a motorcycle on Salah al-Din Street near Sheikh Nasser neighborhood, east of Khan Yunis city in the southern Gaza Strip. A similar attack targeted a group of civilians near the Lababidi intersection on al-Nasr Street, west of Gaza City.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, a total of 12 people have been killed, with their bodies transferred to Nasser Medical Complex and Gaza European Hospital in Khan Yunis city from dawn until now. The Israeli air force also launched a raid on the home of the Nasr family in Jabalia Al-Nazla, near the Qutaiba Mosque, north of Gaza City, resulting in injuries to several citizens.
In addition, three citizens were killed and others injured following an Israeli drone strike on Al-Wahda Street near the Thai Restaurant in west Gaza City. In Al-Shati Camp, an Israeli reconnaissance missile targeted citizens around Hamid S
treet, killing one person and injuring others.
Local health authorities have confirmed that since October 7, 2023, the Palestinian death toll from the Israeli onslaught has risen to 44,429 reported fatalities, with an additional 105,250 individuals injured. The majority of these victims are women and children.
According to the same sources, emergency services are still struggling to reach many casualties and deceased individuals trapped under rubble or scattered across roads in the war-torn enclave. Israeli occupation forces continue to impede the movement of ambulances and civil defense crews. Despite international calls, including those from the United Nations Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice, the Israeli military actions persist, exacerbating the already dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
