Israeli Authorities Prevent Vice President al-Sheikh from Attending Christmas Eve Mass in Bethlehem

Bethlehem: Israeli authorities barred Vice President and Vice Chairman of the PLO Executive Committee, Hussein al-Sheikh, from attending the Christmas Eve mass at the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem, preventing his convoy from entering the city. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, President Mahmoud Abbas had entrusted the Vice President to represent him at the event and attend the mass.
