Israeli Authorities Close Ibrahimi Mosque, Prevent Prayers in Hebron

Hebron: Israeli occupation forces today closed the Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron and prevented worshippers from reaching it, citing Jewish holidays, while also raiding and searching several homes across Hebron Governorate.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Israeli forces closed the Ibrahimi Mosque to worshippers and visitors and prevented access to the site, allegedly to secure its entry by settlers under the pretext of Jewish holidays.

Israeli forces also raided several homes in Hebron city and in the towns of Al-Dhahiriya and Al-Samu, south of the city, searching the properties and ransacking their contents.

No detentions were reported.
