Gaza:Israeli prison authorities have canceled scheduled lawyers' visits for Palestinian detainees, a decision communicated to legal teams upon their arrival at the prison entrances without any explanation.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, the Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoner's Society announced this cancellation on Wednesday. The decision has resulted in depriving detainees of access to their lawyers, hindering their ability to address their conditions and legal matters.
Families of the prisoners, who were expecting visits from legal teams, have been informed that these visits will not proceed as planned. They will be updated on any developments regarding the rescheduling of the canceled visits.
