Beirut: The Israeli occupation army has issued evacuation orders to residents of ten villages in southern Lebanon, amid escalating aggression against the region. The villages affected by these orders include Nabatieh al-Tahta, Louaizeh, Sajd, Ain Qana, Harouf, Zibdine, Kfar Remman, Doueir, Adchit al-Shaqif, and Midoun.
According to Palestine news and Information Agency, Israeli drones carried out three airstrikes targeting roads between Kfar Remman and Jarmaq, and Jarmaq and Khardali. A motorcycle on the Kfar Remman-Jarmaq highway was also targeted, resulting in the death of three civilians. The aggression by Israeli forces has resulted in multiple fatalities, injuries, and extensive damage to local infrastructure and buildings.
In addition to the evacuation warnings, Israeli fighter jets and artillery launched strikes on several towns in southern Lebanon. The towns affected include Qalila, Jabal al-Batoum, Yater, Arnoun, al-Duwair, Yahmar al-Shaqif, Dbeibine, Balat, al-Shahabiya, Zibdine, Beit al-Sayyad, al-Haniya, Harouf, al-Qatrani, Kafra, al-Mansouri, Zibqin, Arzoun, Haris, Toura, Qabrikha, Sarifa, al-Khardali, and Tibnin. The situation remains tense as the region grapples with the ongoing conflict.
