Israeli Airstrikes Result in Civilian Casualties Across Gaza Strip

Gaza City: Several civilians were killed and others injured as Israeli warplanes targeted different areas of the Gaza Strip on Tuesday.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, medical sources reported that five citizens lost their lives in various locations in Khan Yunis. Three individuals were rescued amid the ongoing Israeli shelling of residential homes.

In another incident, at least two civilians were killed and others injured when Israeli airstrikes targeted the Darduna family residence on Al-Jurn Street in Jabalia al-Balad, situated in the northern Gaza Strip. Furthermore, two more civilians died, and several others sustained injuries due to Israeli shelling in the Al-Rimal neighborhood, southwest of Gaza City, and the city of Beit Lahia, to the north of the Strip.

Intense Israeli shelling persists in Beit Lahia and other northern areas of the Gaza Strip, alongside heavy gunfire from Israeli vehicles near Al-Awda Hospital.

Since October 7, 2023, Israeli occupation forces have initiated an offensive against the Gaza Strip, resulting in the deaths of 53,977 Palestinian citizens, predominantly women and children, with approximately 122,966 individuals injured.
