Lebanon: At least 25 people were killed and dozens injured this evening due to the ongoing Israeli aggression in various regions of Lebanon, resulting in widespread destruction of buildings, facilities, and infrastructure. Initial reports indicate that the airstrikes led to the deaths of 11 citizens in the town of Amhaz, four in the town of Nahle, seven in the town of Yunin, and three in Laboue in the Bekaa Valley, east of the country.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, the relentless bombardment has also caused significant destruction to residential areas and critical infrastructure, exacerbating the humanitarian crisis in the region. Meanwhile, firefighting teams were able to extinguish a blaze in a home hit by an Israeli strike in the town of Tariyya, resulting in two people killed and four others moderately injured.
Additionally, the agency reported that Mohammed Jaber, a member of the Nabatiyeh municipality, was killed when Israeli warplanes struck a home in the Al-Maslakh neigh
borhood of Nabatiyeh city. Simultaneously, rescue teams managed to recover Jaber’s body from under the rubble, as the airstrike completely destroyed the building and caused significant damage to surrounding homes and shops.
The city of Nabatiyeh also experienced a series of Israeli airstrikes overnight, targeting several neighborhoods and causing extensive damage to residential buildings. In a related context, Israeli aircraft carried out strikes on the towns of Iaat, Bwadi, Ras Al-Ain, Makneh, Qasr Naba, Al-Bazaliyah, and Rasm Al-Hadath in the Baalbek region, as well as the Zahra neighborhood in the city of Baalbek.
