Israeli Airstrikes in Gaza Result in 11 Palestinian Deaths and Numerous Injuries


GAZA CITY: Eleven Palestinians were killed and several others injured this afternoon in a series of Israeli airstrikes on multiple areas in Gaza City.



According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, four civilians lost their lives, and others sustained injuries after an airstrike targeted a group of people near the Barbary station on Al-Jalaa Street in Gaza City. In a separate incident, three Palestinians were killed when an Israeli airstrike hit a vehicle on Al-Maamal Street in the Al-Daraj neighborhood in central Gaza City. Two more were killed, and several others were injured when an Israeli airstrike struck a gathering on Al-Thawra Street near Taj Mall in western Gaza City.



Additionally, two individuals were killed, and others wounded in an airstrike targeting civilians on Kashku Street in the Al-Shuja’iya neighborhood in eastern Gaza City. The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has resulted in at least 45,581 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 108,438 others injured. Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.



Israel’s attacks continue despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
