Israeli Airstrike in Gaza City Leaves Two Palestinians Dead, Including a Child

Gaza city: Two Palestinians, including a child, were killed in an Israeli airstrike on a vehicle in the al-Nasr neighborhood of western Gaza City. The incident occurred on Sunday evening when Israeli warplanes targeted a civilian vehicle near the Hamid intersection in the neighborhood.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, medical sources reported that the bodies of the deceased, along with several wounded individuals, were transported to al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City. Concurrently, Israeli artillery shelled the eastern part of the al-Tuffah neighborhood in eastern Gaza City and the northeastern part of the al-Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.

The death toll from the ongoing Israeli offensive on the Gaza Strip has escalated to 73,651, with 174,592 individuals wounded since the offensive began on October 7, 2023. In the past 24 hours, hospitals in the Gaza Strip have received 17 wounded Palestinians, further straining the already overwhelmed medical facilities in the region.
