Gaza: Israeli forces delivered approximately 30 demolition notices on Thursday targeting homes, walls, agricultural structures, and livestock pens in the town of Anata, east of occupied Jerusalem. Anata Mayor Bassam Mousa reported that the forces raided the Wadi al-Bik area of the town and posted notices ordering the demolition of the structures within seven days, citing alleged construction without permits.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Israeli authorities issued demolition orders against 34 Palestinian structures last month, including 13 in Bethlehem Governorate, 10 in Hebron, and five in Jenin. These actions have raised concerns among local residents and officials about the continuing challenges faced by Palestinian communities in securing necessary building permits.
