Gaza: Health authorities in the Gaza Strip reported that the death toll from Israel's ongoing aggression on the Strip has risen to 73,651, with 174,575 Palestinians injured since October 7, 2023.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency, hospitals in Gaza received 17 bodies over the past 48 hours. This includes five newly killed Palestinians, one individual who succumbed to injuries, and 11 bodies recovered from beneath the rubble, alongside 27 injured individuals.
The report also stated that since the ceasefire took effect on October 11, 2025, the number of Palestinians killed has increased to 1,344, with 4,464 others injured. A total of 815 bodies have been recovered in the aftermath.
The health authorities mentioned that an additional 160 Palestinian fatalities were added to the cumulative death toll after their records were completed and verified during August. They emphasized the ongoing challenges faced by ambulance and rescue crews in reaching victims trapped under rubble and on roads.
