Gaza: The death toll from Israel's ongoing war on the Gaza Strip has risen to 73,388, with 174,259 others injured, since October 7, 2023. Medical sources said Gaza hospitals received the body of one victim who had been recovered from the rubble, as well as two injured people, over the past 24 hours.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the number of Palestinians killed since the ceasefire on October 11 last year has risen to 1,259, while 4,148 others have been injured. A total of 808 bodies have also been recovered.
The sources noted that a number of victims remain trapped under the rubble and on the roads, as ambulance and rescue teams continue to face difficulties reaching them.
