Gaza: The death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 73,054 Palestinians killed and 173,480 injured since October 7, 2023, medical sources announced on Sunday.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, local health authorities reported that hospitals across the Strip received the bodies of three Palestinians killed and 43 injured over the past 24 hours.
They added that since the ceasefire started on October 11 of last year, the death toll has reached 1,041, with 3,372 injuries recorded during the same period. Medical teams have also recovered 786 bodies from under the rubble.
An unknown number of victims remain trapped beneath the rubble and in the streets, added the sources, as ambulance and civil defense crews continue to face difficulties reaching them.
