Gaza: Medical sources in the Gaza Strip announced on Monday that the death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Strip has risen to 72,612, and 172,457 wounded since the start of the offensive on October 7, 2023.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Gaza Strip hospitals received two slain people and nine wounded individuals in the past 24 hours. The latest figures illustrate the ongoing impact of the conflict on the region's population.
The sources explained that the total number of slain people since the ceasefire on October 11 has risen to 832, and the total number of wounded to 2,354. Additionally, 767 bodies have been recovered from under the rubble, highlighting the scale of destruction faced by the communities.
The sources indicated that a number of victims remain under the rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and rescue teams have been unable to reach them so far. This situation underscores the challenges faced by emergency responders in accessing affected areas.
