Gaza: Medical sources announced on Tuesday that the death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 68,531, the majority of whom are children and women, since the start of the Israeli aggression on October 7, 2023.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, the death toll has reached 170,402 since the onset of the aggression, with numerous victims still trapped under rubble, inaccessible to ambulance and rescue crews.
The sources reported that four deceased individuals, including one recently killed, two whose bodies were recovered, and one who succumbed to their wounds, along with seven injured, were transported to hospitals in the Gaza Strip.
Since the ceasefire agreement on October 11, the death toll and number of wounded have reached 94, with 344 individuals injured and 474 bodies recovered.
The sources further explained that out of the 195 bodies released and received from Israel, 75 have been identified so far.
