Fuel prices fall for the third month in a row


Ramallah – Ma’an – The General Petroleum Corporation in the Ministry of Finance announced on Monday evening the maximum prices for selling fuel and gas to consumers during the month of October in the governorates of the homeland.

Gasoline, diesel and kerosene prices fell for the third consecutive month, while gas prices remained stable.

The price of a liter of gasoline (95 octane), the most common and widely used, decreased by 13 agorot compared to September prices, reaching NIS 6.98. The price of a liter of gasoline (98 octane) also decreased by 13 agorot to reach NIS 7.92.

The price of a liter of diesel decreased by 9 agorot to reach 5.98 shekels, and the price of a liter of kerosene also decreased by 9 agorot to reach 5.98 shekels.

There was no change in gas prices, as the prices were as follows: the price of a 2.5 kg gas cylinder is 15 shekels, a 5 kg cylinder is 30 shekels, a 12 kg cylinder is 70 shekels, a 48 kg cylinder is 280 shekels, a liter of gas delivered to buildings and institutions is 3.06
shekels, a kilogram of gas delivered to buildings and institutions is 5.37 shekels, and the service of delivering the cylinder to the consumer’s home only is 2 shekels.

The Petroleum Authority called on gas station owners and distributors to adhere to the announced prices, under penalty of legal liability.
