Four Civilians Killed in Israeli Airstrike on Displaced Persons’ Tent in Southern Gaza

Gaza: Four civilians were killed and others injured on Sunday in an Israeli airstrike targeting a tent sheltering displaced persons near Taiba towers west of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, earlier on the same day, three aid seekers were killed and others injured by Israeli gunfire north of Rafah, raising the death toll since early today to 21. The ongoing conflict has significantly impacted the civilian population in Gaza, with many casualties reported.

The death toll in the Gaza Strip has reached 61,897, the majority of whom were women and children, since the beginning of the Israeli aggression in October 2023. At least 155,660 others have also been injured. The humanitarian situation remains dire, with numerous victims still trapped under rubble, inaccessible to ambulance and rescue crews.
