Rantis:Five Palestinians, including a man and his wife, were injured today following an attack by Israeli colonists near the village of Rantis, northwest of Ramallah.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency, the head of the Rantis village council, Majed Khalaf, reported that the colonists attacked the Palestinians using sticks, firearms, and pepper spray. Additionally, during the assault, the wife of one of the injured individuals was run over.
Three of the injured were subsequently transferred to a hospital in Israel for medical treatment.
This incident occurs amid an increase in difficulties faced by Palestinian farmers during the olive harvest this year, as attacks by colonists under the protection of Israeli occupation forces have increased. These attacks pose a threat to the harvest and have restricted farmers' safe access to their lands.
The Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission noted that in September alone, Israeli forces and colonists carried out 2,051 attacks against Palestinians, their lands, and property, which included 1,404 attacks by Israeli forces and 647 by colonists.
