Gaza: Five Palestinians were injured, and machinery and equipment were set ablaze on Friday in attacks carried out by Israeli colonists across several areas in southern Hebron, while Israeli forces detained seven Palestinians.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Palestinian security sources reported that a group of armed colonists attacked Palestinian homes with stones in the Deir Shams area, near the towns of Al-Dhahiriya and Al-Samou, south of Hebron. This resulted in injuries to five Palestinians and the theft of several sheep. The colonists also targeted a Palestinian Red Crescent ambulance, damaging its windows and obstructing its access to the injured.
In a separate incident, another group of colonists attacked a stone quarry owned by Palestinian citizen Khaled al-Za'arir east of the town of Al-Samou. They set fire to several vehicles and pieces of equipment, painting racist slogans on the quarry walls with threats against Arabs. Al-Za'arir stated that the attack on his quarry occurred around 4 a.m., leading to the destruction of a bulldozer, three stone-cutting machines, two heavy vehicles, and other equipment, resulting in significant financial losses.
Meanwhile, activist Osama Makhamreh conveyed that colonists raided the home of Palestinian citizen Ibrahim al-Jabbarin in the Shaab al-Butm area of Masafer Yatta, damaging his belongings. Following this, Israeli forces raided the area, detaining al-Jabbarin, his son Jibril, and two other local Palestinian citizens.
Palestinian security sources further indicated that Israeli forces conducted a raid in the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, detaining three Palestinians after searching their homes and causing damage to their property.
