Five Lebanese Civilians Killed in an Israeli Airstrike on Southern Lebanon

Nabatieh: Five Lebanese civilians were killed in an Israeli airstrike on southern Lebanon on Saturday, just hours after a ceasefire went into effect. The incident has drawn significant attention due to the timing coinciding with the recently established ceasefire.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Israeli warplanes and drones conducted a series of raids on the Nabatieh area throughout the night and into the early morning. The strikes resulted in the destruction of residential buildings and homes, causing fatalities and raising concerns over the adherence to the ceasefire agreement.

Additionally, Israeli artillery targeted Nabatieh and its surrounding areas before dawn, escalating the situation further. The attack has sparked international discussions about the stability of the ceasefire and the humanitarian impact on the affected civilians in the region.
