Fifteen Palestinians Killed and Dozens Wounded in Israeli Airstrikes in Khan Younis, Gaza City.

Gaza City: At least 15 Palestinian civilians were killed and others were injured on Saturday in a series of Israeli airstrikes south of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip, and Gaza City in the north of the enclave.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, medical sources reported that Israeli warplanes targeted a vehicle and a gathering of citizens while they were receiving flour in the Qizan al-Najjar area south of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip, resulting in eight innocent civilians killed. Meantime, seven Palestinian citizens were killed and others were injured in an Israeli raid that targeted a house in the Shuja’iyya neighborhood east of Gaza City. The occupation warplanes also bombed a house in the al-Rimal neighborhood in the center of Gaza City, resulting in the killing of seven people.

Earlier today, five Palestinians were killed, including three employees of the World Central Kitchen Organization, when the Israeli occupation bombed a civilian vehicle on Salah al-Din R
oad in the al-Satar al-Sharqi area northeast of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip. The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 44,363 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 105,070 others injured.

Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks. Israel’s genocidal attacks continue unabated despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
