Elderly Woman and Her Sons Injured in Violent Settler Attack Near Hebron

Hebron: An 80-year-old Palestinian woman and her two sons were injured on Friday after armed Israeli colonists attacked their home and stole livestock in the Wadi al-A'war area in the village of Birin, east of Hebron.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Farid Burkan, head of the village council of Birin, reported that a group of armed colonists attacked the home of Noor Azmi Idris. The attackers broke doors and windows in an attempt to storm the house. The family confronted the attackers, which resulted in injuries to Safiya Idris, 80, and her sons Noor and Azmi.

All three family members sustained bruises, suffocation, and burns after being assaulted and sprayed with pepper spray. They were later transferred to a hospital for treatment. Burkan further stated that the attackers stole around 30 sheep belonging to the family during the assault on the home.
