Education denounces the occupation’s confiscation of Palestinian books in Jerusalem

The Ministry of Education expressed its deep condemnation of the painful events that took place at the "Bilara" School in Old Jerusalem, where the occupation forces confiscated Palestinian curriculum books and arrested the driver and employee assigned to deliver these books to the school.

These actions were considered a blatant violation of human rights and the right of children to obtain quality education and integrated curricula, and they reflect the difficult conditions that students and teachers are experiencing in Jerusalem as a result of the war launched by the occupation forces against everything that is Jerusalem, especially the education system.

The Ministry of Education called on the international community to intervene immediately to stop these violations and protect children’s rights to education, stressing the importance of continuing to provide support to schools and students in Jerusalem to face these difficult challenges.
