Gaza: Dozens of delegates and representatives walked out of the United Nations General Assembly hall as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu took the podium to deliver his address during the 80th session of the General Assembly.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency €œ WAFA,Footage from inside the hall showed large numbers of representatives leaving their seats before Netanyahu began speaking, while other delegations remained in place. Some attendees also shouted and booed as Netanyahu began his address.
The walkout came amid widespread international criticism of Israel's genocide in Gaza and its policies in the occupied West Bank, as well as growing diplomatic opposition to Israel's conduct of the war.
