Death Toll Rises to 9 After Israeli Airstrike Targets Gaza’s Khan Younis Last Night

Gaza: The death toll has risen to nine following an Israeli airstrike that targeted the Khan Younis area in the southern Gaza Strip last night.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, six Palestinians, including a girl, were killed and four others were wounded in the airstrike. Medical sources in the Gaza Strip announced that the total number of Palestinians killed in the Israeli offensive on the Gaza Strip has risen to 72,278, with 172,013 wounded, since the start of the offensive on October 7, 2023.

The sources explained that hospitals in the Gaza Strip received 10 bodies and 18 wounded in the past 24 hours. They indicated that the total number of slain Palestinians since the ceasefire on October 11th has risen to 702, and the total number of injuries to 1,913, while 756 bodies have been recovered.

The same sources explained that a number of victims remain under the rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense teams have been unable to reach them so far.
