GAZA: A number of Palestinian civilians were killed and injured on Wednesday in a series of raids by Israeli warplanes and artillery on different areas of the Gaza Strip, as the brutal Israeli aggression the Gaza Strip enters its 299th day. Health sources said that a number of people were killed and injured in an Israeli bombardment that targeted a house in al-Mawasi area, west of Rafah city. WAFA correspondent said that many people were injured and taken to the Red Cross field hospital as a result of gunfire from Israeli army vehicles towards the tents of the displaced in al-Mawasi area, west of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip. Health sources also confirmed that a one person was killed and four others were injured in an Israeli bombardment that targeted Abasan al-Kabira, east of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip. The neighborhoods of al-Zeitoun, al-Shuja'iyya, and al-Tuffah, east of Gaza City, were subjected to intense artillery shelling, which led to the injury of many civilians, including children and women. The areas east of Jabalia, north of the Gaza Strip, also saw intense artillery shelling and successive explosions amid gunfire from Israeli occupation army vehicles. The Israeli occupation forces' aggression against the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has so far resulted in the killing of 39,400 Palestinians, the majority of whom were women and children, while 90,996 others were injured, as thousands of victims remain under rubble and on the roads where ambulance and rescue crews cannot reach them.
