Colonists Vandalize Main Water Supply of Village Near Ramallah

Ramallah: Israeli colonists on Monday evening vandalized the main water supply line of Umm Safa village, northwest of Ramallah, according to a local official.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency, Marwan Sabbah, head of the village council, stated that colonists sabotaged the main pipeline supplying water to the village as they razed a tract of the villagers' land. This act was part of laying the groundwork for the construction of a colonial road between Umm Safa and the nearby village of Deir As-Sudan.

Sabbah explained that the village is now encircled by colonial outposts from all directions, which has restricted the villagers' access to their farmlands. This situation has turned the village into a target of a scheme intended to forcibly displace the villagers.
