Bethlehem:Colonists uprooted dozens of olive trees in the al-Maniya village area southeast of Bethlehem and assaulted a woman in Aqaba, south of Nablus.
According to Palestine news & Information Agency, the incidents occurred on Friday night, with the uprooting taking place in the al-Qarn area. The trees belonged to residents from the al-Jabbarin and al-Mutawwar families.
Ahmed Kawazbeh, head of the al-Maniya Village Council, stated that the tree uprooting is part of ongoing efforts by colonists to clear agricultural land for colonial purposes. Recently, colonists have established an outpost in the al-Qarn area.
In a separate incident, local sources reported that a woman was assaulted by colonists while returning home in the southern area of Aqaba. The assailants used pepper spray against her.
