Gaza: Armed Israeli colonists early today set fire to a Palestinian home in Khirbet al-Fara, south of Hebron. WAFA correspondent reported that colonists from the colony of Otniel, built on Palestinian-owned land south of Hebron, attacked the home of resident Bassam al-Nawaj'a in Khirbet al-Fara, west of Yatta, and set it on fire while his family of five was asleep inside.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Mohammad al-Nawaj'a, a member of the family, stated that five masked and armed colonists attacked the three-room, 70-square-meter home in the early hours of the morning. He said one of the attackers approached a window, smashed it, threatened the residents, and then threw a highly flammable substance inside the house, causing it to catch fire and burn down completely. Al-Nawaj'a mentioned that the family members were asleep inside the house at the time and managed to escape the flames.
