Colonists Set Fire to Farmland and Vehicles, Damage Homes in Jit

Jit: Israeli colonists on Saturday evening set fire to agricultural land and four vehicles and caused damage to several homes in the village of Jit, east of Qalqilya, in the occupied West Bank, according to local sources.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, groups of colonists ignited fires on farmland belonging to several families in the village, burning approximately four to five dunums of agricultural land. Civil defense crews, assisted by local residents, were able to contain and extinguish the fires.

The colonists also set fire to four vehicles, including two belonging to visitors who were in the village at the time, causing extensive material damage. In addition, colonists threw incendiary bottles at several homes, resulting in minor damage to three houses.

The affected properties belong to members of the Al-Sadda, Yameen, and Abu Bakr families, according to local sources. No injuries were immediately reported.
