Nablus: Colonists on Sunday evening stole olive crops owned by Palestinians in the villages of An-Naqura and Deir Sharaf, northwest of Nablus.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, sources reported that a group of colonists raided Palestinian-owned lands in An-Naqura and Deir Sharaf villages and proceeded to steal olive crops. The residents managed to chase them out of the area.
In the Salfit area, colonists continued their attacks on olive groves, specifically in the northwestern part of the village of Farkha, located west of the city. Mustafa Hamad, head of the village council, informed WAFA that colonists have been consistently cutting down and destroying olive trees. They have also been herding their sheep inside agricultural lands in a bid to seize them, preventing farmers from accessing more than 75 percent of their olive groves since a pastoral colonial outpost was established west of the village in October 2024.
Mustafa Hamad emphasized that the colonists aim to take full control of the lands and deny farmers access to their property. He noted that the village council has been documenting these violations through photos and videos, calling on the international community to exert pressure on the occupation to halt such practices.
