Masafer yatta: Armed colonists, on Thursday, prevented Palestinian farmers from accessing their lands in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, after taking over part of the land, according to a local activist. Activist Osama Makhamreh reported that a group of armed colonists blocked residents and farmers from reaching hundreds of dunums of their lands and fields in the Wadi Al-Jawaya area in Masafer Yatta, after taking control of part of the land and erecting a tent there two days earlier.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the colonists began installing livestock sheds and bringing agricultural equipment into the area. This action has raised concerns among residents about the potential establishment of a new colonial outpost and the seizure of additional land. The situation has escalated tensions in the region, with local farmers fearing for the future accessibility of their lands.
