Colonists Plow Agricultural Land in Northern Jordan Valley, Impacting Local Communities

Gaza: Colonists plowed agricultural land in al-Farisiya in the Northern Jordan Valley last night. Local sources reported that the colonists plowed more agricultural land in the area, which constitutes a seizure.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, for months, colonists have been plowing Palestinian lands in al-Farisiya to prevent them from cultivating them or using them during rain-fed seasons. The colonists' actions have completely emptied three communities in the Northern Jordan Valley of their residents, and have significantly reduced the number of families in other Palestinian communities.

The ongoing plowing has also resulted in the loss of thousands of dunams of grazing land and hundreds of dunams of agricultural land. This activity has further strained the resources and livelihoods of the remaining Palestinian communities in the region, exacerbating tensions and impacting the local economy.
