Ramallah: Colonists have continued since Wednesday morning to carry out bulldozing and expansion works at a colonial outpost in the village of Umm Safa, north of Ramallah, said a local official.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Marwan Sabah, head of the Umm Safa Village Council, reported that a group of colonists bulldozed areas surrounding the village cemetery and began expanding a newly established colonial outpost on Palestinian citizens' lands in the Wadi al-Zaytoun area of the village.
The activities have raised concerns among the local Palestinian community, as the expansion impacts their land and resources. Local authorities are monitoring the situation closely, seeking ways to address the ongoing developments.
