Masafer Yatta:Hebron: A vehicle owned by a local resident was set on fire today in Masafer Yatta, located south of Hebron.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency WAFA, the incident occurred when a group of armed colonists infiltrated the area near the home of Mahmoud Abdul-Muhsin Rashid in the hamlet of Haribat al-Nabi. Activist Osama Makhamreh reported that the colonists ignited Rashid's private vehicle, resulting in its complete destruction.
Masafer Yatta has a history of repeated attacks by occupation forces and colonists. These attacks include the demolition of homes and structures, land seizures, the uprooting of trees, and assaults on residents and their property. The area is under increasing threat due to ongoing colonial expansion and land appropriation efforts aimed at displacing Palestinian communities.
