Jericho: A group of colonists this morning grazed their sheep among Palestinian citizens' homes and agricultural lands in the Shallalat al-Auja area north of Jericho, according to a local official.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Hassan Mleihat, head of the Al-Baydar Association for the Defense of Bedouin Rights, reported that the colonists prevented citizens from grazing their sheep in the area after storming it. This move is seen as an attempt to assert control over the land and deprive residents of its benefits.
Mleihat emphasized that this attack is not an isolated incident but a daily occurrence, reflecting a systematic colonial policy targeting both Palestinian land and people. He warned about the dangers of such practices, which he described as a violation of farmers' rights and a direct threat to food security.
He urged human rights and international organizations to urgently intervene to stop these violations and protect the rights of Palestinian citizens to their land.
