Gaza: Israeli colonists today released their sheep to graze on Palestinian-owned land in the village of al-Minya, south of Bethlehem. Head of the al-Minya Village Council, Ahmad Kawazbeh, reported that colonists allowed their sheep to graze on land belonging to Palestinian resident Yasser Arameen in the Jomleh area.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the village of al-Minya has faced repeated attacks by colonists. These incidents have included attacks on residents' homes, damage to irrigation networks, theft of property, and grazing sheep on cultivated lands, which has caused damage to trees and crops.
The nearby Khalayel al-Louz area has also been frequently targeted by colonists, experiencing vandalism and damage to Palestinian property, irrigation networks, and crops. The Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission has documented 2,256 attacks by Israeli occupation forces and colonists against Palestinians, their lands, and property during the month of July.
