Yatta: Armed Israeli colonists demolished an under-construction home on Friday in the village of Wadi al-Rakheem, located near the town of Yatta in the southern West Bank, according to local sources.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, anti-settlement activist Osama Makhamara reported that colonists from the colonial Susiya settlement, operating under the protection of Israeli soldiers, destroyed the home owned by a local Palestinian resident.
Residents in the area experience a constant threat of displacement as nearby Israeli settlements continue to expand under the current hard-right Israeli government. The ongoing expansion has raised concerns among local communities, highlighting the tensions between settlers and Palestinian residents.
