Colonists Block Palestinian Farmers from Plowing Lands Northwest of Jerusalem

Beit iksa: Colonists on Saturday prevented several Palestinian farmers from plowing their lands in the town of Beit Iksa, northwest of occupied Jerusalem. Resident Abdul Karim 'Ajaj reported that several residents went to their lands in the morning to conduct plowing work when colonists, accompanied by Israeli occupation forces, attacked them and forced them to leave.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the targeted lands are in areas that have been repeatedly subjected to colonists' attacks in attempts to seize them. Farmers from the town noted that colonists' attacks have increased in recent weeks, with a focus on preventing them from accessing and cultivating their lands. This is perceived as part of a broader policy to impose restrictions aimed at removing Palestinian owners from the lands surrounding the colonies.

The farmers added that such attacks are frequently conducted with the backing of Israeli occupation forces, who prevent residents from defending their property.
