Colonists Attack Palestinian’s Home Near Nablus

Nablus: Israeli colonists on Tuesday attacked a home in the Burqa village, northwest of the occupied West Bank city of Nablus, according to local sources. They reported that a group of colonists, accompanied by occupation forces, targeted a home on the village's outskirts by throwing stones at it.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency, violence by colonists against Palestinians and their property is common in the West Bank and often goes unpunished by Israeli authorities. Such violence includes arson attacks on property and mosques, stone-throwing incidents, the uprooting of crops and olive trees, and assaults on vulnerable homes.

Approximately 1 million Israeli colonists are residing in colonies in the West Bank and East Jerusalem, which is considered a violation of international law.
