Bethlehem: Colonists attacked Palestinian homes in the village of Kisan, east of Bethlehem, on Sunday, seizing their contents after forcing the residents out of the village, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Ahmad Ghazal, Secretary of the Fatah Movement in Kisan, reported that a group of colonists attacked Palestinian homes in the Sahba area, adjacent to the Umm Zutina community in the village, forcibly evicting residents before taking over their belongings.
Ghazal mentioned that this attack is part of a series of ongoing violations by colonists, aiming to remove the indigenous inhabitants and establish colonial pastoral outposts. He noted that the Israeli occupation forces provided protection to the attackers.
He further explained that the Kisan desert has faced repeated attacks by colonists in recent weeks. These incidents have led to the displacement of numerous families, demolition of homes in the Wadi Ubayyan and Deir Alla areas, and seizure of thousands of dunums of agricultural and pastoral land. These actions appear to be in preparation for establishing new colonial outposts, with a lack of intervention from human rights and international institutions.
