Bethlehem:Colonists reportedly stole olive crops and broke 40 olive trees on lands belonging to the village of Abu Anjim, located southeast of Bethlehem.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, the attack occurred on Tuesday when colonists targeted the land owned by Palestinian resident Amer Aziz Al-Harimi. This incident is part of a series of ongoing attacks in Abu Anjim, which have included assaults on residents' homes and vehicles, gunfire, road closures, and the destruction of trees.
The olive harvest season in the occupied West Bank is frequently disrupted by Israeli colonists, who have been known to prevent Palestinian farmers from accessing their lands, uproot and cut olive trees, and steal or damage crops. Such attacks, often protected by Israeli occupation forces, have increased in recent years, posing a significant threat to Palestinian farmers' access to their land and livelihoods, especially in areas near colonial settlements and outposts.
