Colonists Attack Farmers, Steal Olives Near Hebron.

Hebron: Israeli colonists Sunday attacked farmers east of the town of Sa’ir and stole their olives. Local resident Mohammed Abdul Hamid Shalaldeh said that a group of armed colonists attacked him and other farmers while they were picking olives in the Qanub community east of Sa’ir.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, the colonists beat the farmers and forced them to leave the olive fields, subsequently stealing the fruits and crops. Shalaldeh noted that the occupation forces had demolished the tin houses and tents that housed their families last year. This demolition was part of an ongoing effort to force them to leave the area, where residents face continuous persecution by colonists under the protection of the occupation forces.
